    Duties and Responsibilities (Traditional Banking/Mobile Application Operations):

    1.Accounting Operations


    • Leads, manages and oversees overall Accounting operations of the bank


    • Ensures bank's adherence and compliance to prescribed accounting and reporting standards


    • Ensures efficiency, productivity and initiative of all subordinates to maximize work outputs


    • Oversees all Accounting Operations functions of the Senior Accountant

    2.Accounting Policies, Procedures and Control


    • Formulates/designs internal accounting policies/guidelines and procedures to ensure work efficiency of subordinates


    • Evaluates existing accounting policies and procedures to ensure effectiveness. Recommends and initiates necessary revisions or improvements as needed


    • Monitors strict adherence to such policies and procedures


    • Formulates strategies/measures to control operating expenses. Implements cost effective measures


    • Regularly evaluates, in coordination with the bank's Internal Audit Department, bank's existing Internal Control measures to ensure effectiveness and identify areas for improvements Internal Financial Reporting, Planning,

    3.Budget and Forecasting


    • Provides timely and reliable financial data/reports to Senior Management/HQ as well as to other Departments/Units as needed


    • Regularly reports/discusses Financial Reports and Financial Performance Analysis during ManCom Meetings and Annual Planning meetings and other meetings as may be required by Senior Management


    • Prepares and provides Financial Budgets and Projections to Senior Management/BOD


    • Oversees all Internal Financial Reporting functions of the Senior Accountant Regulatory Reporting & Examinations/External Audits


    • Oversees all Regulatory Reporting functions of the Senior Accountant
    • Ensures bank's compliance to the requirements of the following Regulatory Bodies and Agencies, and represents the Bank, in coordination with the bank's Chief Compliance Officer and Senior Management, in any undertakings involving the following Regulatory

    Bodies and Agencies/External Auditors:

    BSP - Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas

    (Reportorial requirements & bank examination)

    PDIC - Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation

    (Reportorial Requirements & Insurance Premiums)

    BIR - Bureau of Internal Revenue

    (Tax payments/remittances and audit)

    SEC - Securities and Exchange Commission

    (Reportorial requirements)

    LGU - Local Government Units

    (Local Government taxes)

    External Audit

    (Annual financial audit)

    4.Finance Operations


    • Checking and evaluation of all expenses due for check disbursements and other pay out


    • Endorses for approval thru the Office Application (OA) of all disbursements to facilitate payments/settlements


    • Endorses for approval of Senior Management all Fund Transfers between Due from Banks accounts to serve financial transactions/disbursements


    • Oversees all Financial Operations functions of the Senior Accountant

    Qualifications:

    · A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Banking or related field; Master's degree would be an advantage

    · Solid work experience in accounting with a Certified Public Accountant Certificate

    · Excellent communication and presentation skills in English

    · Ability to lead the function of the executive team, with strong communication and negotiation skills, project management, business acumen, and strategic focus
