We are seeking a talented Decision Support System (DSS) Model Builder to join our team. As a DSS Model Builder, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining models that support decision-making processes within our organization. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders from various departments to understand their needs and translate them into effective DSS models. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and programming, along with excellent communication skills and a passion for problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

• Model Development: Design and develop decision support system models using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.
• Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform model development and improve decision-making processes.
• Model Implementation: Implement DSS models into production systems, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Model Evaluation: Evaluate the performance of DSS models using appropriate metrics and make recommendations for improvements.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, data engineers, and IT professionals, to gather requirements and integrate DSS models into existing workflows.
• Documentation: Document model development processes, methodologies, and findings to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users on how to interpret and utilize DSS models effectively.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and decision support systems, and proactively identify opportunities to enhance existing models.
  
  

Qualification

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, or a related field.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing decision support system models
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Java, along with experience using relevant libraries and frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Strong understanding of statistical methods, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization techniques.
• Experience working with large datasets and databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable insights.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and big data technologies is a plus.
