- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, and operations, to ensure alignment and execution of category initiatives.
- Lead vendor negotiations and partnerships to optimize product assortment, pricing, and promotional opportunities.
- Monitor and analyze category performance, including sales, margin, and inventory metrics, and make data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with beauty brands and suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and securing exclusive partnerships.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in beauty ecommerce, and incorporate insights into category strategies.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to a team of category managers and analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial management, with a focus on the Beauty or Personal Care category.
- Proven track record of success in managing and growing the beauty category within an ecommerce environment.
- Deep understanding of market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape in the Beauty or Personal Care industry.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive category strategies and decision-making.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
