    Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Manager to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead procurement processes, develop strategic relationships with stakeholders, and drive process improvements. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating cost proposals from suppliers and subcontractors, maintaining expertise in import and export operations, and coordinating procurement activities for new projects. This role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.

    What you'll do:

    As a Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our client's business operations. You will be entrusted with the responsibility of developing procurement strategies that align with the company's goals. Your day-to-day tasks will involve evaluating cost proposals from potential suppliers, implementing procurement plans, acquiring necessary resources for projects, and fostering strong relationships with various stakeholders. Your expertise in import/export operations will be crucial in navigating through complex customs procedures. Your collaborative approach will ensure smooth coordination with customs brokers to secure beneficial incentives for the company's importations.

    • Evaluate cost proposals of prospective suppliers and subcontractors for all ongoing and proposed projects
    • Develop and execute procurement plans, implement policies and procedures
    • Acquire resources for projects and processes, provide technical management of suppliers
    • Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
    • Maintain subject matter expertise in all import and export operations including availment of the applicable incentives
    • Collaborate with Customs Brokers in the processing and documentation of available incentives for the company's importations
    • Provide import and export estimates, arrange payment of duties, taxes, and other charges
    • Source for the most advantageous customs clearing agents that will provide the best service & cost to the company
    • Periodic progress monitoring and reporting to management
    • Support bundling activities for project, including convening periodic meetings of all stakeholders

    What you bring:

    The ideal candidate for the Procurement Manager role brings a wealth of experience and knowledge in Supply Chain Management, particularly in Procurement. With a strong educational background in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Analytics, you have honed your analytical and problem-solving skills over at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Your keen attention to detail and ability to thrive under pressure will be key assets in this role. Furthermore, your excellent communication skills will enable you to effectively liaise with various stakeholders. Proficiency in Excel for data analysis is also required.

    • BS/MA degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Analytics or any other related courses
    • At least 3-5 years of working experience in Supply Chain (preferably in Procurement)
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Keen attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with less supervision
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Intermediate Excel Skills for Data Analysis such as charts, graphs, bars, pivot table, Vlookup, Countif, Sumif, filtering information to provide quality data, macros, managing raw data
