    DUTIES:

    • Lead and supervise a team of warehouse and logistics personnel, providing direction, guidance, and mentorship to ensure a cohesive and motivated workforce.
    • Manage daily operations of the warehouse, including inbound and outbound shipments, order picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, such as procurement, customer service, and fulfillment, to align warehouse activities with business goals and customer expectations.
    • Monitor inventory levels, implement demand forecasting, and develop strategies to optimize stock levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce excess inventory.
    • Oversee the implementation of inventory management systems and technology tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency in inventory tracking and management.
    • Coordinate with logistics partners, carriers, and vendors to ensure timely and costeffective transportation and delivery of goods.
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to maintain a secure and compliant working environment.
    • Perform regular audits and quality checks to ensure accurate inventory records and proper handling of products.
    • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse and logistics processes, continuously seeking opportunities for process improvement and operational efficiency.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse and logistics operations, analyze data, and implement corrective actions as needed.
    • Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of warehouse staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
    • Resolve operational issues, address customer inquiries, and manage exceptions to ensure smooth order fulfillment and delivery.
    • Collaborate with the management team to contribute insights and recommendations for business growth, cost optimization, and customer satisfaction.
    • Produce regular reports as and when required
    • Participates in meetings, discussions, and various activities to facilitate the accomplishment of objectives, goals, assignments and set requirements.
    • Report progress updates, key achievements and any concerns to the Warehouse Manager / CEO

    Skills and Attributes:

    • Supervisory and Team Leader skills with the ability to motivate, develop and supervise others
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Good IT skills, in particular spreadsheets and databases and a knowledge of warehouse systems
    • Organize, Good planning skills and able to meet targets and deadlines
    • Excellent attention to detail skills

    QUALIFICATION:

    • Proven experience in warehouse management, logistics, or inventory control within the ecommerce or retail industry.
    • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
    • Excellent organizational and problemsolving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in inventory management software and systems.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Analytical mindset and datadriven decisionmaking capabilities.
    • Familiarity with ecommerce platforms and order management systems is a plus.
    • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements related to warehousing and logistics.
    • Ability to adapt to a fastpaced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with relevant software application
