    THE ROLE: AP TEAM LEADER (HYBRID)

    Key operational support in MarTrust Accounts Payable department, the AP Team Leader improve the client experience, optimize resource, supervise, and guide the team, and ensure smooth operational continuity in respect of compliance regulation and processes.

    Work 3 days from Customer office and 2 days from home in a week.

    Your new day-to-day will involve:

    Day-to day operations

    • a fast learner, rapidly understand and gain expertise in all processes.
    • verification: Research and resolve discrepancies, check requests.
    • accuracy: Perform Data quality checks and drive process controls.
    • efficiently: Log and report performance and customer reports
    • emails timely and efficiently
    • all reference materials, process documents, and knowledge repositories are kept up to date.

    Service Delivery

    • good relationship with customer, ensure reports are delivered to clients as per agreed timeline by understanding their requirements.
    • potential issues and escalates relevant matters to the AP Manager and Head of the Department in a timely and accurate manner.
    • issues and manage SLA of customer.
    • areas for improvement in documentation and implement changes as necessary.
    • open and transparent communication with your reporting manager, ensuring fluidity of decision.
    • strong presentation skills and proficiency in using tools like Microsoft Excel

    Team Management

    • a team of [5] employees working in a hybrid model (3 days office, 2 days remote) in and outside of the Philippines.
    • day-to-day activities to team members, guide, train, and lead the team by example.
    • as subject matter expert and endorse a constant learning atmosphere within the team, that motivate and encourage teamwork.
    • smooth communication within the team, provide guidance, and address any concerns or blockers.
    • training needs and conduct regular refresher trainings and assessments.
    • leave plan for team members.

    Team Productivity and Performance Management

    • and publish team productivity and performance.
    • all tasks are allocated to team members and completed within the defined KPIs and timelines.
    • objectives for team members according to our Performance Management system.
    • ideas to simplify process leading to enhanced performance and knowledge in team.

    This is what we need from you:

    • Degree with specialization in Finance and Accounting
    • experience (Great Advantage)
    • 2 years in people management role
    • 2 years in Accounts payable related role ranking from procurement to Payment
    • track record of leading remote and hybrid teams effectively
    • of Philippine labor regulations and best practices (Great Advantage)
    • and detail oriented
    • verbal and written communication
    • and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
