    Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Oona Technical Team ensuring alignment with

    business goals and objectives.
    • Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems and

    infrastructure to meet organizational needs.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into

    technical solutions.
    • Manage the technical team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation, to ensure a

    high level of expertise and professionalism.
    • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform strategic

    decision-making and innovation.
    • Collaborate with other department heads and stakeholders to ensure alignment of IT initiatives

    with organizational objectives.
    • Execute IT strategies to support the goals and objectives of the group project.
    • Lead a team of IT professionals responsible for project planning, implementation, and support.
    • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of IT systems and applications to

    support project activities.
    • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and within-budget

    delivery of IT solutions.
    • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to procure IT services and products as

    needed for the project.
    • Monitor IT project risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure project

    success.
    • Provide regular updates to project stakeholders on IT project status, milestones, and key

    performance indicators.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards governing IT project

    management and security.
    • Mentor and coach IT team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and

    continuous improvement.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and outcomes.
    • Foster collaboration and communication among cross-functional teams, including developers,

    engineers, designers, and business stakeholders.
    • Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and reviews to ensure alignment and

    transparency.
    • Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to relevant regulations and

    industry best practices.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders on project

    progress, issues, and risks.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and outcomes.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
    • At least 10 years of proven experience as a Technical Manager / IT Leader or similar role, managing complex technical projects from initiation to closure.
    • Experience with Insurance business is a must.
    • Strong understanding of the technologies, tools, and methodologies relevant to the project. This could include software development frameworks, programming languages (databases (MSSQL/Oracle), networking.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues, propose solutions, and make data-driven decisions to keep projects on track.
    • Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Kanban.
    • Ability to create project plans, set timelines, allocate resources, and track progress effectively.
    • Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring everyone is aligned with project objectives.
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
    • Strong leadership abilities with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams and driving project success.
    • Ability to thrive in a very fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
    • PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant project management certifications are a plus.
    • Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies is highly desirable.
    • Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, Microsoft Project, or similar software
    • Proficiency in identifying potential risks and developing strategies to mitigate them. This

    includes risk assessment, contingency planning, and proactive risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
