- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with an Active and Valid License (PHRN/USRN) - 2 Year(s) Experience in Utilization Management and Medical Necessity Approval(s) and Denial(s) with at least 1 Year(s) Minimum Experience in a Similar Role or Function (Trainer, Learning Specialist, and Other Related Role(s) with Similar Function(s) are Considered).
- Experience in a Hospital Setting or Other Clinical Environment (Contact Center Setting), Familiarity with Medicare Rule(s), Regulation(s), and Guideline(s) Including Coverage Criteria and Coding Principle(s), Experience in Handling Appeal(s), Utilization Review, or Related Healthcare Management Function(s), Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills are Essential for Preparing Appeal Argument(s) and Communicating with Different Stakeholder(s), Ability to Analyze Complex Medical Information and Identify Relevant Clinical Issue(s), Have knowledge and experience in InterQual or MCG
