    Job Title: Specialist, Regional Office Finance

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional to join our Regional Office Finance team. This role is responsible for handling daily bookkeeping operations, ensuring compliance with financial controls, and meeting reportorial requirements. The Specialist will coordinate with regional counterparts, corporate finance teams, business units, and auditors to support accurate and timely financial reporting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform daily bookkeeping operations, including data capture, journal entries, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial reports for management analysis.
    • Ensure completion of Trial Balance, Financial Statements, and disclosures in accordance with regional reporting timelines.
    • Prepare and issue service billings to business units and process payments to third parties and other business units based on agreed terms.
    • Support the FR Head in liaising with internal auditors, external auditors, and tax advisors for audits and regulatory compliance.
    • Complete corporate reportorial requirements within the timetable set by Corporate Finance.
    • Implement and maintain internal controls over financial reporting to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial records.
    • Conduct regular account reconciliations to substantiate financial records.
    • Assist in executing process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance team efficiency.

    Preferred Skills & Competencies:

    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
    • Proficiency in accounting systems, such as SAP
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
    • Strong presentation, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills
    • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
    • Ability to embrace digital tools and demonstrate a growth mindset
    • Capable of multitasking in a multi-cultural and matrix environment

    Qualifications:

    • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial reporting
    • Experience in insurance, asset management, financial institutions, or shared services is an advantage
    • Experience liaising with internal and external auditors
    • Exposure to process reengineering, process improvement, and automation projects is a plus
