    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


    • Oversight of all financial accounting (PNL / B/S analysis) including creation of processes to streamline financial accuracy and reporting, project accounting and payment requisitions


    • Creation of KPIs and other financial analytics to help management make better financial decisions.


    • Creating monthly financial packages and disseminating/communicating the results to the CFO


    • Ensuring accuracy and validity of entries within QuickBooks


    • Help track job profitability, contract requisitions and retainage


    • Oversees the accounting process for AR, AP, Union Payroll, and GL activities. Has a clear understanding of the dynamics between the 3 financial statements.


    • Owns the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes including detailed analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and assisting with external audits


    • Perform ad-hoc analysis and generate custom reports for management.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:


    • With a bachelor's degree in accounting or related program


    • CPA or non-CPA, CPA is an advantage


    • Has at least 5 years or more of work experience in accounting, specifically controllership role


    • Experience in Construction accounting or similar industries


    • Project management and costing experience


    • Management reporting and various business analytics experience (Cash flow forecasting, Cost price calculations, profitability analysis, benchmarking etc.) is a plus


    • Experience in formulating accounting policies and internal controls


    • Proficient in Office 365 applications, specifically Microsoft Excel


    • Excellent verbal and communication skills
