    The Accounting Lead ensures the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the organization's financial operations. This role focuses on financial reporting, analysis, and process optimization, providing critical insights to support strategic decision-making.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Financial Management and Compliance

    • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts in compliance with PFRS and other regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure accurate and timely tax filings and adherence to statutory obligations.
    • Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard financial integrity and support audits.

    Process Optimization and Strategic Support

    • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and ensure data accuracy.
    • Provide actionable financial insights and reports to support management in strategic planning and business decisions.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

    Professional Expertise

    • Serve as a subject matter expert in accounting standards, financial reporting, and compliance.
    • Mentor and guide junior accounting staff through knowledge sharing and technical support (without formal managerial responsibilities).
    • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial best practices.

    Qualifications:

    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required.
    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • Minimum 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, with strong technical expertise in financial reporting and compliance.
    • In-depth knowledge of PFRS, tax regulations, and financial processes.
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
