    He or she shall be responsible for maintaining and monitoring books of accounts. He/ She shall also be responsible in filing of local & national taxes

    Job Description:

    • Performs monthly closing of books except for AP & AR module
    • Prepares monthly & quarterly financial statements & other required management reports
    • Reviews manual journal entries before posting to General Ledger. Manual entries include accruals, correcting & reversal entries
    • Performs monthly reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts and ensuring that GL balances is valid and reconciled with accompanying sub ledgers/schedules. These accounts include but are not limited to:
    1. Prepayments
    2. AP Accounts (Airline, Hotels, Others, etc.)
    3. Accrued Accounts
    4. Retirement Liability/Assets
    5. Cash Accounts
    6. Review of AR Accounts
    • Review all report and returns to government agencies (BIR, SEC, local governments, etc.)
    1. Annual Income Tax
    2. Quarterly Income Tax
    3. Monthly VAT Reporting
    4. Quarterly VAT Reporting
    5. Annual/Monthly Withholding Tax – Expanded
    6. Municipal Taxes/Licenses/Permits
    7. Assists in the preparation of annual budget
    • Assists during internal or external audit and the BIR during BIR assessment.
    • Ensures timely and accurate billing of all Cargo airfare, visa other services
    • Ensures daily reporting of all RCCL invoices to FMSS including CAT-C report to RCCL
    • Ensures timely billing of walk-in clients/paying crew/internal and other corporate accounts;
    • Monitoring of invoiced visa against Visa Cash Advances. Ensure all Cash Advances are liquidated on time.
    • Reconciliation of invoiced Airfare against BSP-IATA & IASA and other related payables.
    • Attend all required trainings and meetings as required by the Company.
    • Other task that can be assigned as need arises
    • Comply with the company's' Code of Conduct.
    • Comply with the company's Quality Policy.

    Qualification:

    • Graduate of BSA
    • Preferably CPA
    • Preferably with experience in Travel Agency Industry, but not required
    • At least 5 years working experience involving general accounting function and management reporting
    • Capable of multi-tasking.
    • Can communicate well in English and Tagalog.
    • Can work under pressure.
    • Willing to work beyond schedule.
