MAIN JOBS
1. Cost Monitoring & Analysis
· Compute and analyze product costs (materials, labor, overhead).
· Prepare cost of goods manufactured (COGM) and cost of goods sold (COGS) reports.
· Monitor standard vs. actual cost variances.
· Assist in pricing analysis and profitability review.
2. Inventory Management
· Monitor raw materials, WIP, and finished goods inventory.
· Reconcile physical inventory vs. system records.
· Assist in monthly inventory count and adjustments.
· Ensure proper costing method (FIFO/Weighted Average).
3. Production & Manufacturing Support
· Review bill of materials (BOM) and production orders.
· Monitor material usage and wastage.
· Analyze production efficiency and cost drivers.
· Coordinate with production and warehouse teams.
4. Financial Reporting
· Prepare monthly cost reports and schedules.
· Assist in month-end closing (inventory valuation, accruals).
· Support audit requirements related to inventory and costing.
5. Compliance & Controls
· Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
· Maintain proper documentation for cost transactions.
· Support implementation of internal controls in costing processes.
