Takes and records vital signs.
Observes medical sepsis.
Observes signs and symptoms, institutes remedial action when appropriate and records these in her chartReports observation to the physician.
Observes and responds to patients' emotional spiritual needs.
Acts as liaison between patient and hospital personnel.
Interprets to the patient and his family their roles in promoting successful therapy and rehabilitation.
Prepares patients for, and assists physicians with, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Carries out doctor's legal orders.
Assist Physicians when examining the patients.
Performs irrigations, catheterizations and gives enemasAdministers and charts medications and patients' reaction to medications.
Instructs patients and families.
See to it that equipment receives proper care and maintenance.
Discharge patients.
Performs post-mortem care.
