Senior Accountant, be 100% YOU with MicroSourcing

A Senior Accountant is expected to:
• Assist in all aspects of accounting, financial statements, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts
receivable, budgeting, inventory accounting, revenue recognition, and various special analyses

• Prepare and review monthly financial statements within established deadlines

• Work closely with billing and IT departments to validate revenue calculations

• Monitor cash balances

• Assist with quarterly/annual budgets and forecasts

• Organize information and statements for audits and tax returns

• Assist with local/state licensing and tax requirements

• Additional Senior Accountant duties as needed Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite; with intermediate to
advanced Excel skills

• Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
(GAAP)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and as a team

• Analytical ability to develop and implement improvements or recommendations

• Attention to detail

• Able to work well with senior executives and team, as well as mentor/lead other team members

• Workday experience is a plus

What it takes to be part of our team:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
At least 2 years of related work experience.
Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Excellent computer skills; experience in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite; with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
Has experience with financial/accounting systems, Sage 100 is a plus.
Workday experience is a plus
Amenable to work night shift and onsite work set-up
