- Reviews all claims documents and relates it to the insurance policy for compliance
- Tasked to inspect the damages sustained by the vehicles being claimed, canvass the necessary parts and make recommendations on the most accurate amount of repair that can be approved for the claims filed.
- Tasked to scan and evaluate bodily injury claims filed under the motorcar policy.
- Schedules and Inspects all damages being claimed for the insured as well as third party vehicles.
- Coordinates with insurance adjusters regarding the investigation of the claim.
- Discusses with claimants initial details of the claim to substantiate damages found on the claimed vehicle.
- Assist in coordinating with accredited repair shops other matters and other considerations for accommodation by the shops.
- Performs all tasks which may be assigned by supervisor from time to time.
- Graduate of any four year business or Engineering course
- Must be organized and thinks analytically
- Computer literate and has a working knowledge of word processors and spreadsheet applications
- Has strong work ethics and a major concern for accomplishing a day's workload
- Experience with a major car dealership service department or insurance department is an advantage
- Working knowledge of automobiles is an advantage
- Previous experience in the motorcar claims department is an advantage
