    The client is an established multinational engineering consultancy firm. They have a long history in business and are considered one of the global leaders in the industry.

    Job Description

    The General Accounting Specialist is responsible for:

    • Daily bank reconciliation, weekly bank summary and liquidity reports, weekly cashflow report
    • Reconciliation of fixed assets
    • Monitoring of invoices
    • Preparation of relevant journals via manual AP web ADI/AP workbench
    • Prepare journal entries for monthly intercompany settlement and perform invoice allocation
    • Preparation of month-end journals: prepayments amortization, accrual, FX revaluation, cost re-allocation, OH adjustments
    • VAT validation and reconciliation
    • Monthly intercompany accounts (Balance Sheet and P&L)
    • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliation reports
    • Quarterly SAP BPC Intercompany reconciliation
    • Year-end financial audit

    The Successful Applicant

    The successful General Accounting Specialist is:

    • BS in Accountancy
    • CPA is required
    • 3-6 years of relevant experience working in Financial Accounting, Audit, Fixed Assets, Bank Reconciliation, Intercompany Accounting, Month-end close and taxation
    • Exposure in Shared Service or Multinational Environment
    • Experience with ERP Systems
