We are looking for an Instrumentation & Automation Supervisor to lead the maintenance, reliability, and improvement of plant instrumentation and automation systems, ensuring high system availability, strict safety compliance, and zero critical control point (CCP) failures.

This role is vital in maintaining process control integrity, responding to breakdowns, driving preventive maintenance, and leading improvement projects across instrumentation and automation systems. The ideal candidate is technically strong, highly dependable, and an effective people leader in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance of instrumentation and automation systems.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and full compliance with engineering, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain high availability of instrumentation systems and ensure 100% functionality of CCP-related equipment.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and provide technical guidance to restore operations quickly.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules, ensuring high schedule adherence and minimal backlog.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring instrument and automation failures and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor system performance, downtime trends, and reliability indicators to reduce unplanned downtime.
• Lead and supervise instrumentation and automation technicians, ensuring productivity, discipline, and safety compliance.
• Drive automation and instrumentation improvement projects, including upgrades and replacement of obsolete equipment.
• Manage instrumentation spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical items and cost control within budget.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, calibration documents, loop diagrams, and CMMS data.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Engineering, Warehouse, contractors, and suppliers for maintenance and project execution.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation/Control Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on experience in instrumentation, automation, or control systems in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• At least 1–2 years of supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sensors, transmitters, actuators, control valves, PLCs, SCADA, HMI, VFDs, and industrial automation systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for complex instrumentation and control issues.
• Solid understanding of safety standards, LOTO, engineering codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Good communication, reporting, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Willing to work in a plant-based, on-call, or shifting environment as needed.
