    The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with senior management to develop financial strategies for the organization. You are comfortable handling large amounts of data, acting as a business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.

    Responsibilities

    1) Lead the finance team in financial reporting, banking and treasury, accounts payable and receivable, costing and analysis, and tax reporting.

    2) Responsible for the full set of accounts, to complete routine reporting (including group reporting package and local statutory financial statements) on time and in accordance with applicable reporting standards and requirements.

    3) Manage cashflow to ensure sufficient funds for daily operations, to meet financial obligations and to invest surplus cash for returns. Identify and mitigating risks including interest rate changes, currency fluctuations and credit risks.

    4) Identify and mitigating risks through financial controls and SOP, to ensure compliance with regulatory bodies, statutory and tax requirements.

    5) Work with production in developing standard costing, tracking actual spending, and providing insights for decision making.

    6) Responsible for all matters related to local taxes, including tax filing and reporting.

    7) Foster a culture of teamwork and provide ongoing mentorship to staff.

    8) Maintain effective communications with SG Finance and other departments.

    9) Maintain effective liaison with external parties including auditors, tax agents, bankers etc.

    10) Other projects, duties and assignments as and when necessary.

    Qualifications

    1) Degree in Accountancy (or equivalent) with minimum 3 years of working experience in similar role. Prior experiences in similar industry preferred.

    2) Certified Accountant. Audit experiences with Big 4 preferred.

    3) Strong communication and inter-personal skills. Good command of both written and spoken English is a must.

    4) Advance skills in using MS Excel and knowledge in SAP B1 would be an added advantage.

    5) Able to start work immediately or with short notice is preferred.
