    Summary of role
    Marketing is an enabling function to Anthesis Group, where the prime area of focus is to support the development and implementation of the Group's marketing strategy and brand.

    Anthesis is looking for a Digital Marketing professional specializing in Web and SEO to join our Marketing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to contribute their expertise to our team during this period. This professional will take ownership of the global and regional websites, and supporting sites, for the Group, including being the lead on SEO, UX and website optimization changes.

    This role reports to the Group Chief Marketing Officer, as well as leading cross-functional teams where necessary.

    The successful candidate will assist in a variety of activities including, but not limited to, the production of digital marketing collateral, creating analytical reports, and supporting web, SEO and PPC activities.

    About the team
    The global Marketing team collaborates with the business and the wider Sales teams to realize the company's marketing strategy through content creation, graphic design, site optimization, and research. Positive and with a can-do attitude, the team seeks to create compelling experiences for our clients, colleagues, and future applicants across channels, through the development of marketing strategies that support our business objectives. The team also works closely with a small group of digital agencies – for online we work with third party agencies for both website development and PPC.

    Responsibilities:
    • Assist in content management, development and maintenance of the company's primary website and secondary websites
    • Strategy through to execution on website and SEO aspects of our digital marketing campaigns and programmes, including both on-page and off-page approaches
    • Defining the process for website management including; auditing, UX optimization, publishing and maintaining webpages
    • Managing and optimizing the working relationship and processes with the marketing team and the 3rd party website developers
    • Providing consultative guidance to various internal teams to digital marketing colleagues on the development of new web pages and web journeys
    • Using web analytics & SEO tools e.g. conducting keyword research using DragonMetrics, Google Search Console; analyzing web trends using GA4; and reviewing CRM processes via Hubspot to drive personalized web experiences
    • Exploring how to build greater personalization into our web channel and how user journeys extend from web into other channels like email
    • Ensuring our organic search strategy is aligned with our other marketing approaches, including PPC activities
    • Keeping abreast of website and SEO trends, legislative developments and opportunities/innovations (for example, the latest Google algorithm changes or understanding the impact of cookies and tracking technologies on our website experience)
    • Ensuring compliance with accessibility and privacy guidelines across geographies.
    • Reporting on web and search performance of our digital campaigns and general marketing activities
    • Supporting the sharing of website and SEO best practices across the team and wider function and helping produce training materials and deliver advice and training
    Requirements:
    • A passion for and prior experience in website development and SEO and its place within digital marketing, with at least three years of experience working in a website management or SEO role
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills with copywriting experience
    • A pragmatic knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO), including on-page optimization techniques and up-to-date keyword research & classification methods
    • Data and analytical skills, ideally with experience of SEO and reporting tools, such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics & Looker Studio
    • Practical knowledge of typical web languages
    • Experience in executing link building strategies
    • Experience using the Microsoft Office suite
    • Experience working within a website content management system such as WordPress and CRM databases and marketing platforms such as HubSpot or similar
    • Confident in briefings activities to external suppliers, such as videographers, software/web design engineers
    • A mind-set which demonstrates a comfort with testing, learning and optimizing
    • Experience in creating personas, customer journey mapping, wireframes and optimal web page builds
    • Experience in using SEO tools
    • Experience of measuring and analyzing website and SEO performance data
    • Experience in delivering against tight deadlines and executing multiple web pages/projects under pressure
    • Clear communication skills to aid working with different teams and agencies.
