Position Title : Accountant
Reports To : Accounting Manager
Qualifications:
● A demonstrated Christian faith commitment.
● Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Major in Accounting is preferred.
● A Certified Public Accountant is preferred, or 3 years equivalent experience
● Demonstrate proficiency in computer skills, including Word and Excel, and specific fund-based accounting software such as Sage 50 and NetSuite
● Attention to detail and precision in account reconciliation and report generation.
● A commitment to good interpersonal relationships, teamwork, and support of church ministries.
● A commitment to confidentiality regarding all account records, both of the church and staff, as well as the church members.
● Communicates well in the English Language.
Position Responsibilities:
This role encompasses financial and administrative responsibilities for Union Church of Manila Inc., Union Church of Manila Phils. Foundation Inc., and Union Church of Manila Foundation Inc.
- Processes payments to suppliers
- Prepares and maintains payroll and benefits records
- Ensures timely tax filing and compliance reporting
- Manages inter-office (Church-Foundation) transactions
- Recommends process improvement to ensure efficient and effective processing and reporting
- Supports month-end accounting and reporting activities
- Supports the Accounting Manager and provides guidance to Accounting Clerk
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php28, Php40,000.00 per month
