- Maintain and optimize local company servers and software.
- Directs the activities of IT Technicians to manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software.
- Be responsible for device and password management.
- Oversee data backup and system security operations.
- Protect production environment by ensuring compliance to change/release standards (Release Management).
- Assess system performance and recommend improvements.
- Resolve issues escalated by technicians and engineers.
- Ensure data is handled, transferred or processed according to legal and company guidelines.
- Provide support and guidance to stakeholders via help desk.
- Manage contracts with vendors (e.g. development platforms, telecommunication companies, password managers) and software licenses.
- Develop IT policies and practices.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent field.
- Proven experience as an IT Operations Manager/ IT Service Delivery Manager.
- Experience with system installation, configuration, and analysis.
- At least 10 years of related and progressive experience in IT management and operations.
- Startup experience is an advantage, building from the ground up.
- Thorough knowledge of servers and cloud computing.
- Knowledge of data networking and data protection operations.
- Advantage if experience working in an ITIL-based organization.
