    JOB TITLE: IRRIGATION OPERATOR DIVISION: SAN SIMON FARM

    REPORTS TO: DIVISION MANAGER -IRRIGATION/ TREE CARE

    CLASS: FULL-TIME HOURLY/ NON-EXEMPT/ NON-SUPERVISOR

    JOB PURPOSE: INCLUDES BUT NOT LIMITED TO DIAGNOSE, OPERATE ND REPAIR SPRINKLER SYSTEM

    Essential Duties And Responsibilities

    • ABILITY TO MAINTAIN IRRIGATION EQUIPMENT
    • ABILITY TO SET SPRINKLER PROGRAM AND MANAGE PIPELINE PRESSURE
    • ABILITY TO COORDINATE FERTILIZER PROGRAM
    • ABILITY TO SAFELY OPERATE AND CONTROL AN ALL-TERRIAN VEHICLE(ATV)
    • ABILITY TO COMPLETE DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
    • ABILITY TO LIFT A MINIMUM OF 50 LBS
    • ABILITY TO KNOW WHEN TO USE PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE)
    • FOLLOW AND OBEY SAFETY REGULATIONS

    Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

    • NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED- ONLY TO SHOW MATURITY IN JUDGEMENT
    • WORK WITH MINIMUAL TO MODERATE SUPERVISON
    • BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS/EARLY MORNINGS AND SOME HOLIDAYS
    • ABLE TO STAND, WALK, KNEEL, BEND AND STOOP FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME, USING REPETITIVE MOVEMENTS
    • ABILITY TO WORK IN EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS
    • SKILLED IN EFFECTIVE WORKING RELATIONSHIPS AND WORKING AS A TEAM MEMBER

    Education And Experience

    • ABLE TO UNDERSTAND AND COMPREHEND VERBAL AND WRITTEN INSTRUCTION
