    System Administrator primary responsibility is to support reliable and effective use of complex IT systems by end users, whether internal employees or external customers. Activities range from managing identities and access to providing dedicated technical support to individual users. As sysadmin, you may be the first contact point within IT departments for users to resolve any tech-related issue.

    Sysadmins are responsible for dependable access and availability to IT systems. Sysadmins are therefore required to troubleshoot and fix issues that compromise system performance or access to an IT service. It also involves regular system improvements, such as upgrades based on evolving end-user and business requirements.

    Sysadmins are also required to maintain records of IT assets usage.

    Assists in long range planning and managing project assigned.

    Provides technical expertise/support to the users of the systems assigned.

    Provides problem resolution for systems and users.

    Analysis and provides recommendations based on system requirements.

    Performs corrective or preventive maintenance.

    Implements procedures and solutions for optimizing systems and software within the department.

    Maintains up to date documentation and records pertaining to department infrastructure.

    Thorough and adept in developing technical diagnostics manual to colleagues.

    Ensure systems functionality, integrity and efficiency.

    Performs other related duties as assigned.

    College graduate or equivalent

    · 1-2 years work experience related to System Administration

    · Elementary knowledge of computer functions and operations

    · Elementary knowledge of networks and peripherals

    · Elementary knowledge of diagnosing computer problems

    · Good oral and written communications skills
