    Job Description

    The Payroll Specialist is primarily responsible for performing procedures assigned by the engagement Senior Payroll Specialist and/or Payroll Manager. Such procedures may vary with the nature and scope of the engagement and the experience of the Payroll Specialist.

    In all phases of an engagement, the Payroll Specialist is responsible for conducting the work in accordance with the quality standards of the Company and of the profession

    The Payroll Specialist may assume the role of Senior Payroll Specialist depending on the set-up, requirement, size, and complexity of the engagement.

    Primary Duties And Responsibilities

    Administrative Functions

    • Comply with the Parent Firm, and Company administrative processes, policies, and procedures. 2. Participate in suggesting improvements in the Parent Firm, and Company's processes, policies, and procedures. 3. Complete all required monitoring and surveys in a timely manner. 4. Complete and submit accurate time reports in a timely manner. BPS Senior Payroll Specialist JD v2022|3 5. Always ensure confidentiality of engagement. Staff should not disclose or make use of any information that he/she may acquire during the course of the engagement other than to properly perform his/her work in connection therewith.

    Professional Development

    • Attend on-the-job trainings or internal/external seminars for professional development. 2. Request from the Senior Payroll Specialist and/or Payroll Manager Performance Appraisal Reports (PARs) for each engagement. 3. Comply in all required examinations initiated by the Division (Probationary Exam, Diagnostic Exam, etc.). 4. Participate in the Division's internal audit activities (AS, ISAE, IQCR, etc.) and in external audits only when it is part of the engagement. 5. Accomplish Individual Development Plan and discuss it with the assigned coach. 6. Reach out to mentor and attend mentoring and coaching activities.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/ Management or equivalent

    Well-developed communication (oral and written) skills

    Interpersonal skills and positive work attitude

    Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is needed
