- Manages the terminal operational performance to meet company requirements.
- Develops and improved operational, and associated safety and environmental processes and systems, implement and manage process change and improvement in conjunction with other departments where appropriate.
- Develops effective working relationships with customers including personnel from shipping lines, regulatory authorities and other stockholders.
- Implements policies and procedures.
- Ensures the cost-efficient utilization of manpower and equipment resulting in optimum productivity, cost levels and customer service.
- Lead, develop and motivate all personnel reporting to the position and manage operational and industrial relations issues.
- Develops all personnel reporting to the position, identify employees skills training requirements, and implement appropriate training programs in conjunction with HRD.
- Prepares budget related to his/her functional area and ensures all related costs are within budget
- Presents annual budget to higher management for approval
- Supports the VP – Chief Operations Officer in the implementation of all projects related to infrastructure, equipments, information technologies & people.
- Graduate of any four-year Business or Engineering course
- With 5-7 year experience in terminal, port, terminal, and managing operational teams
- Must be able to develop long-term operational strategies aligned with company growth objectives.
