The Role

We are seeking talented and experienced Sr. AI Engineers to join our innovative AI team. This role will be pivotal in leading the design, development, and deployment of cutting-edge AI solutions across diverse domains, including Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Data Science, and Agentic AI. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, proven project leadership capabilities, and the ability to act as a forward-deployed engineer, collaborating directly with clients to understand requirements and deliver impactful AI solutions. You will contribute to our portfolio of advanced AI agents, specialized vision systems, and robust data intelligence platforms, driving measurable success for our clients.

Your Team

You will be working with a team of AI Engineers, Data Scientists and Software Engineers of different tech stacks depending on the project you will be assigned to under Labs.

Your Responsibilities

• AI Solution Design & Development: Lead the end-to-end design, development, and implementation of AI/ML models and systems, leveraging expertise in areas such as LLMs, Generative AI, natural language processing (e.g., chatbots, autonomous agents), computer vision (e.g., object detection, pose estimation, OCR), demand forecasting, and geospatial visualization.
• Project Leadership & Technical Guidance: Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring adherence to best practices, architectural integrity, and successful project delivery. Oversee the entire AI project lifecycle from ideation to deployment and maintenance.
• Client Engagement & Forward Deployment: Act as a forward-deployed engineer, working closely with clients to gather requirements, define project scope, provide technical consultation, and ensure AI solutions meet business needs and are effectively integrated into client systems.
• Agentic AI & Advanced Systems: Drive the development of intelligent AI agents, chatbots, and copilot solutions, utilizing frameworks like ReAct, CLAM, LangChain, LangGraph, and MCP for complex reasoning, multi-tool use, and autonomous decision-making.
• Edge AI & Performance Optimization: Develop and optimize AI models for various deployment environments, including edge devices, ensuring high accuracy and performance for solutions like custom OCR pipelines and mobile-based AI applications.
• Research & Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI/ML, conduct R&D on state-of-the-art methods, and propose innovative approaches to enhance Stratpoint's AI capabilities and offerings.
• Technology Stack Utilization: Expertly utilize and contribute to Stratpoint's technology stack, including cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), programming languages (Python, Java, Scala), and data engineering tools (Spark, Kafka).

About You

• At least a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in AI/ML engineering roles, with a proven track record of leading and delivering complex AI projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in at least two of the following AI domains: Natural Language Processing (LLMs, GenAI, RAG), Computer Vision, or Advanced Data Science/Machine Learning.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python (essential), Java, or Scala.
• Strong experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including deploying and managing AI/ML services.
• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph) and developing multi-agent systems is highly desirable.
• Experience in predictive modeling use cases (e.g., demographic segmentation, forecasting, cost optimization) and frameworks such as scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas, Optuna.
• Familiarity with data governance (including frameworks for data quality checks, lineage, security, and compliance) is a plus.
• Familiarity with data engineering principles and tools (e.g., Kafka, Spark) for building robust AI pipelines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business problems into technical AI solutions.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, lead projects, and collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.
