- Maintains patient care and quality standards in accordance with nursing practice and established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, utilization standards, and clinical and performance measures.
- Ensure that all financial activities and resource allocation in the Cancer Center are within the approved budget to guarantee their availability and consumption and minimize patient care service delays.
- Manages the entirety of the nursing operation within the unit to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of patient care rendered, as well as the overall safety and comfort of all patients.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and handles service recovery efforts and resolved within the required turn-around time.
- Handles all communication with the staff to disseminate department-related information and other matters.
- Manage the staff in terms of their attendance, learning and development, and performance management. This is done to make sure that the department has enough staff and to measure how well they are doing.
- A duly licensed Registered Nurse (RN) by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
- Have completed at least nine (9) post-graduate degree (MA/MS) units in nursing or hospital management and administration and be able to complete the program within five (5) years of upon enrollment.
- Have at least two (2) years of clinical nursing experience dealing with medical-surgical condition or two (2) years of clinical experience handling patient in critical care unit.
