- Develop and execute local marketing and branding strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Ensure corporate brand guidelines and design language are consistently applied across all marketing executions.
- Prepare, manage, and monitor the annual marketing budget to ensure cost efficiency and optimal ROI.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to recommend strategic improvements.
- Strengthen brand equity by increasing awareness, consideration, and preference in the local market.
- Collaborate with PR agencies to execute campaign launches, press releases, influencer partnerships, media seeding, and brand collaborations.
- Oversee recruitment and management of brand ambassadors and athletes; maintain strong relationships with media and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
- Plan and execute media events such as store openings and grassroots activations including product trials.
- Lead digital marketing efforts including social media strategy, content planning, and engagement optimization.
- Manage loyalty programs and direct marketing initiatives to drive customer retention.
- Oversee brand website management to ensure timely product updates and marketing content refresh.
- Lead content creation and production across all media platforms.
- Partner with sales and sourcing teams to develop strategic partnerships and execute business development initiatives.
- Build, lead, and develop a high-performing marketing team to drive innovation and business growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 7 years of retail marketing experience; sports retail industry experience is an advantage.
- Strong background in marketing, branding, or trade marketing with solid commercial and analytical acumen.
- Proven ability to interpret data, generate actionable insights, manage budgets, and evaluate ROI.
- Growth-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in challenging and dynamic environments.
- Passion for sports and/or fashion industry.
- Experience working in multinational companies or international business environments is preferred.
- Full professional proficiency in English and Filipino.
- Willingness to work extended hours and travel for business when required.
