    What You'll Be Doing

    Be part of our client's team as an Australian Tax & Accounting Specialist, where you'll handle statutory lodgements, prepare reporting outputs, and assist with payroll-related and fringe benefits obligations, alongside selected advisory support. The work involves interpreting financial information, applying current Australian tax rules, and maintaining clear, well-supported records suitable for review and audit purposes.

    What Sets You Apart

    • At least 3 years of hands-on experience supporting Australian tax and accounting work
    • Working knowledge of Australian tax requirements
    • Experience preparing Australian tax lodgements and supporting compliance processes
    • Practical exposure to accounting systems
    • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
    • High attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
    • Collaborative approach and confidence working with multiple stakeholders
    • Degree in Accounting or a related discipline
    • CA or CPA completed or currently in progress

    Your Day-to-Day Impact

    • Prepare and lodge Australian tax compliance requirements, including income tax returns and BAS
    • Compile and review financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships
    • Perform account reconciliations and develop supporting work papers through final reporting stages
    • Provide support across payroll-related compliance, including STP and associated obligations
    • Assist with tax planning activities covering FBT, payroll tax, and related advisory matters
    • Contribute to management reporting initiatives such as budgets, cash flow forecasts, and performance summaries
    • Maintain accurate, audit-ready client records and documentation in line with compliance standards
