    The Tax and Regulatory Officer is in charge of ensuring correct and prompt compliance with tax regulations. Establishing and maintaining contact with outside parties to ensure proper and timely settlements of tax concerns.

    He/She will be identifying and assessing various aspects of the company's activity and applicable tax criteria. advises on the operations, finance, and accounting departments on compliance obligations.

    Tasks

    Monthly and annual filing of Tax returns thru BIR EFPS with Alpha list / supporting documents and ensure funding of various taxes to the Bureau of Internal Revenue. The following must be followed three (3) days before deadline of filin

    • Withholding Tax
    • Compensation C) – every 10th of the following month
    • Expanded E)- every 10th of the following month
    • Final Tax F)- every 10th of the following month
    • Value Added Tax
    • Monthly M) –every 20th of the following month
    • Quarterly – every 25th of the following month
    • Income Tax Quarterly – 60 days after quarter
    • Annual – April 15 after calendar year
    • Performs tax compliance audits to identify potential tax exposures and recommends measures to address them
    • Coordinate audits by various taxation authorities
    • Assist in the preparation of schedules, retrieval of supporting documents, letter correspondence in line with tax and legal compliances like PEZA, BOC, SEC and BIR

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
    • 5-8 years related work experience
    • Excellent with numbers and proficient to details
    • Proficiency with spreadsheets and Microsoft Office programs
