BERNADETTE CONDES

BERNADETTE ALONZO-CONDES is a licensed Master Teacher II, designated Subject Group Head in English for Grades 11 and 12 at Quezon National High School with more than 9 years of teaching experience. She aims to model exemplary practice in the application of content knowledge and pedagogy showing its integration within and across learning areas and to exhibit a learner-centered culture that promotes success by using effective teaching strategies that respond to their linguistic, cultural, socio-economic and religious backgrounds.

BERNADETTE ALONZO-CONDES is currently a Master Teacher II and designated Subject Group Head in English for Grades 11 and 12 at Quezon National High School, with more than 9 years of teaching experience. Aside from being a subject teacher, she is responsible in supervising and mentoring other teachers in the department in terms of instruction, curriculum implementation, and research. She also facilitates instructional trainings and seminars. In SY 2021-2022, 7 out of 8 teachers under her supervision and assistance rated as outstanding with the final rating of 4.6 to 4.85 (5 as the highest) based on the Results-Based Performance Management System. Moreover, for three (3) consecutive school years, she performed as an outstanding Master Teacher.

Additionally, she served as a Regional Coordinator in Curriculum and Learning Management Division of the Department of Education-Region IV-A. As a teacher-leader, she takes part in region-wide and division-wide research endeavors and renders her service in division and regional level as one of the resource speakers and facilitators of different seminar-workshops and research activities. Aside from being a passionate speaker-facilitator, she is also a research advocate. She is a former editor of The Quezonian Educators Research Journal, and former secretariat of Schools Division Research Committee of SDO-Quezon. She also serves as a regional reviewer and panelist in different research activities conducted by Policy, Planning, and Research Division (PPRD) of the Department of Education-Region IV-A.
