For the past 10 months, I’ve been working as a cold caller for a magazine offering free subscriptions. My role involves reaching out to a wide range of US and Canadian businesses and institutions including engineering firms, police departments, schools, restaurants, healthcare providers, farms, and travel-related businesses. The main goal is to verify and update subscriber information such as the correct spelling of names, addresses, email addresses, and confirming if the original subscriber is still with the organization. I also gather additional company information as needed. Through this, I’ve developed strong communication skills, adaptability when speaking to different industries, and the ability to build quick rapport over the phone.
 

I completed two years of a Bachelor of Science major in English and also took a vocational course in Computer Literacy. Through these studies, I developed both strong communication skills and basic technical proficiency that I believe will be an asset to your team.
