Job Title: Patient Support Representative (Bachelor's degree in Medical Field, US Health Tech Co.)
Location: Cebu, Philippines
Job Type: Full-time, Onsite
Role Summary
This role is for an Patient Support Representative who interacts with clients or customers who may be stressed, confused, or seeking guidance. The main goal is to listen carefully, show empathy, explain solutions clearly, and guide the client to the appropriate next step. This is consultative and solution-focused, not aggressive sales.
The ideal candidate must balance kindness with structure, keep conversations efficient and goal-oriented, manage follow-ups, and care about quality outcomes, not just call volume. They should be calm, emotionally intelligent, confident on the phone, comfortable discussing sensitive topics, and motivated by both helping people and achieving results.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound client inquiries and provide clear, empathetic guidance.
- Listen actively and acknowledge client concerns before offering solutions.
- Explain processes, options, or services in a structured and understandable way.
- Guide clients to the appropriate next step or resolution efficiently.
- Document interactions accurately and follow up to ensure issues are fully resolved.
- Collaborate with internal teams and focus on quality outcomes, not just call volume.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Nursing, or a related field.
- A Registered Nurse (RN) license is preferred but not required.
- Prior experience in customer service or client support preferred
- Strong communication skills (spoken and written)
- Ability to remain calm and professional with upset or emotional clients
- Comfort in discussing sensitive or detailed topics
- Strong listening, problem-solving, and follow-up skills
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, CRM or support systems)

Work Schedule & Setup
- Must be amenable to work onsite at 15th Floor, 1Nito Tower Building, Cebu City.
- Open to working flexible hours, including night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
