    Job Description:
    . Planning and Designing - You'll get the opportunity to actively be involved in planning and
    designing of the group's core technology stack and road map.
    . Installing, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring IDX Group's core ICT infrastructure which
    includes Systems, Storages, Virtualization Platform, Backup/Replication, Operating Systems.
    (both OS - Windows and Linux), Databases and related Cloud services.
    . Project work - Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for assigned project engineering and deliver
    services in accordance with established project goals and objectives.
    . Support, maintenance, and troubleshooting - Own the technical support for IDX infrastructure -driving and maintaining operations, monitoring infrastructure and operating systems.
    . Work closely with the service providers to deliver services to the group. Maintain security,
    backups, and redundancy strategies and be responsible for all firmware and patch upgrades.
    . Continuous Improvement - Make recommendations to improve infrastructure performance and
    cyber security to support business growth and challenges.


    Qualifications

    The successful candidate will have:
    . Minimum of 10 years' experience working as a Systems Engineer designing, implementing, and
    managing complex business-critical environments.
    . Relevant industry certifications such as VCP, MCSE (Core Infrastructure), RHEL, or similar.
    . Minimum of 10 years' experience designing, implementing, and managing the following

    technologies:
    o Servers, Storage Area Networks, HCI and SAN switches
    o VMWare, backup, and replication technologies
    o MS SQL Standard and Enterprise
    o Microsoft Windows AD
    o RedHat Enterprise Linux OS
    o Hybrid Cloud Infrastructure
    o DNS and certificate management
    . Well presented with an excellent work ethic.
    . Effective oral and written communication skills.
    . Ability to work autonomously and to make independent decisions.
    . Highly developed problem-solving skills.
    . Ability to work outside business hours such as on-call.
    . Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle to attend client sites.


    Desired experience:
    Dell advanced Data Centre Technologies, SRM and OS certifications such as
    RHCSA.
