    Job title: IT Systems Administrator

    IT Systems Administrator, be 100% YOU with MicroSourcing

    An IT Systems Administrator is expected to:
    • The successful candidate will work with our Systems and Storage group, and be responsible for the following:
    • Linux Server Administration;
    • Core Infrastructure Incident/Problem Management and Monitoring;
    • Ensure Systems are maintained to meet SLA targets;
    • Maintain and administer Linux/Windows systems, Office 365 suite, SQL
    • AOHG, and liaising with 3rd party vendors as needed;
    • Maintain and administer Data Protection software, Replication software, and HA clusters;
    • Windows and Linux Patch Management;
    • Complete security assessments, identify security vulnerability, evaluate countermeasures, and apply recommendations;
    • Participate in simulated BCP/DR processes and make recommendations to improve processes and procedures.

    What it takes to be part of our team:
    • A degree in Computer Science or a related field;
    • Holds a valid Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification;
    • 4+ years of experience in Systems Administration especially administering Linux environments;
    • Experienced in the following;
    • Linux and Windows Server Administration
    • RedHat Satellite
    • Data Protection and Replication technologies such as Veeam, SRM, or similar
    • VMWare
    • OPManager, SolarWinds, or similar monitoring systems
    • Strong understanding of Windows, Linux operating systems, database technologies, and hardening practices;
    • Understanding of ITIL processes such as IM, PM, CM, and ITSM;
    • Excellent communication skills and a team player.
