    Job Title:
    Windows System Administrator

    Job Summary:

    The Windows System Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and support-ing the Windows-based infrastructure within Noble Corporation. The primary focus is on ensuring the availability, stability, security, and performance of Windows servers and sys-tems.


    Key Responsibilities:


    Deployment and Administration:


    • Deployment of Windows based Operating system servers on physical hardware or virtual hosted environments such as Hyper-V, VMware, Nutanix, and Azure.
    • Configuration and deployment of Server physical hardware.
    • Administration and maintenance of existing Server physical hardware.
    System Monitoring and Performance Tuning:


    • Monitor system performance and take appropriate actions to ensure optimal per-formance.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system performance and reliability.
    Security Management:


    • Implement and maintain security measures to protect systems from unauthorized access and data breaches.
    • Apply security patches and updates to ensure system integrity.
    Backup and Recovery:


    • Implement and manage backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
    • Test and validate backup and recovery procedures regularly.
    Networking:


    • Configure and troubleshoot network-related issues on Windows servers.
    • Work with network administrators to ensure seamless communication between servers and other network devices.
    Virtualization:


    • Manage and support virtualized environments (Hyper-V, VMware, and Nutanix).
    • Administration and maintenance of existing virtual infrastructure.
    Documentation:


    • Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
    • Keep documentation up to date to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
    Collaboration:


    • Collaborate with other IT professionals, including network administrators, security analysts, and application developers.
    • Participate in planning and implementing IT projects.
    Patch Management: Plan and execute patch management strategies to keep the Windows environment up-to-date and secure.

    Compliance:
    Ensure that Windows systems comply with relevant regulatory standards and organizational policies.

    Automation:
    Implement automation scripts and tools to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.

    Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
    • 4 to 6 years of experience in supporting and managing enterprise server infrastruc-ture

    o In depth and hands-on experience on virtualized server on either VMware, Hyper-V and surrounding technologies such as Cluster failover, etc.

    o Knowledge and experience in Nutanix or Azure IaaS environment and sur-rounding technologies such as Nutanix AHV and Central is an advantage.

    o Experience in supporting Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS to File Storage Solutions on any Windows Server platform from 2008 – 2016
    o Strong understanding of common networking concepts such as TCP/IP, NAT, and TCP/UDP
    o Experience in supporting physical servers (either blade or rack-type profile) remotely using remote tools such as HP iLO
    o Knowledgeable on creating scripts for server management tooling using PowerShell Script language
    o Familiar with different server administration and management frameworks
    o Microsoft Certified in Windows Server is a plus


    • Working knowledge in ITIL or IT Service Management
    • Experience in ServiceNow or other ITSM tools is a plus
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Strong communication skills
    • Willing to be on shifting schedule, on call support, and holiday support
    • Willing to work on a hybrid setup
    • Is able and willing to travel outside the country if required
