    Summary

    Incumbent serves as full-time Assistant Clinic Manager for the Department of Veterans Affairs Outpatient Clinic in Manila, Philippines. H/She works as a senior manager with direct accountability to the Clinic Manager. As a member of higher level management, the incumbent, with the concurrence of the Clinic Manager, is responsible for a wide variety of functions related to and is responsible for directing a variety of administrative support programs for the Outpatient Clinic (OPC).

    Duties

    A top-secret security clearance is required for this position. Due to the length of time to obtain a top-secret security clearance - applicants with a current top-secret clearance are preferred. If you have a current top-secret security clearance please indicate on your resume.
  • Performs the administrative and personnel management functions relative to staff supervised.
  • Establishes guidelines and performance expectations for staff, which are clearly communicated through the formal employee performance management system.
  • Reviews and analyzes computer generated workload, cost and budget reports on a monthly/quarterly basis in order to verify the accuracy of the data, noting trends and analyzing variances.
  • Designs report formats based on discussions with management and other facility staff.
  • Educates facility staff on the system data requirements and use of data generated.
  • Manages a preventive maintenance program to ensure scheduled technical maintenance to ensure maximum efficiency of equipment assets.
