    Job Description:
    Experienced project manager with solid experience in leading teams in delivering Applications Development projects.

    This role will involve:
    • Leading over-all project delivery to meet targets on financials, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction
    • Leading the closure of project issues, and manages project risks
    • Managing project scope and ensures appropriate Change Management process is implemented to account for scope changes
    • Leading and facilitating key stages in the Software Development Lifecycle: from Requirements gathering to Deployment to production and warranty support
    • Ensuring project is staffed with the right-skilled resources at the right time
    • Establishing relationships with key project sponsors, stakeholders, and partners to ensure project success
    • Communicating key project status, updates, and needs to project sponsors, stakeholders, partners, and the project team
    • Implementing project management practices that adhere to specific regulatory and process standard requirements applicable to DXC and the customer
    • Upselling to the account or the customer as new project opportunities arise
    Skills and Knowledge
    • Qualified/Certified PM, solid working experience across all Project Management areas
    • Excellent understanding of Software Development Lifecycles (preferably experience in both Waterfall and Agile Incremental & Iterative methodologies)
    • Strong Requirements Management Skills
    • Excellent stakeholder and communication management, written, oral, visual presentation
    • Good understanding and ability of Business Change Management.
    • Ability to manage customer disputes and challenge scope creep.
    • Ability to work with the customer redefine projects and deliverables to best meet the requirements and constraints of the IT and Business customers
    • Strong management and delegation ability
    • Strong quality management
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • 7+ years of project leadership experience in the Applications Development space
    • Project Management Tools (MS Project, Atlassian, JIRA, Testing tools, etc.)
    • Mandatory to have experience in delivering software projects
    • Mandatory to have 5+ minimum years of firsthand project delivery, preferably 10+ given seniority of the role
    • Mandatory to have delivered projects with at least 5+ team members, and at least 1 project > $1m in value
    • Highly valuable if they have experience in delivering Microsoft/D365 projects but not mandatory
    • Highly valuable if they have PM certifications (Prince2, PMBOK, Agile etc) but not mandatory
    • Highly valuable if they have experience using Azure DevOps for task management
    • Highly valuable if they both government and private sector project experience
