SEO Specialist (Full-Time | Permanent)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven SEO Specialist to lead and execute SEO strategies across a portfolio of service-based clients.

This role requires proven success delivering SEO campaigns targeting the Australian market, along with experience in International SEO. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with strategic thinking and a demonstrated ability to drive measurable improvements in rankings, organic traffic, and inbound lead generation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies for Australian and International markets
  

• Lead and manage Local SEO campaigns, particularly for Australian-based service businesses
  

• Conduct advanced keyword research aligned with commercial and lead-generation intent
  

• Perform in-depth technical SEO audits and oversee implementation
  

• Optimise on-page SEO including metadata, site structure, internal linking, and structured data/schema
  

• Develop and guide SEO-driven content strategies aligned with ranking and conversion goals
  

• Conduct competitor analysis to identify strategic ranking opportunities
  

• Execute ethical, white-hat link-building campaigns
  

• Monitor, analyse, and report on performance using tools such as:
  

  • Google Analytics 4
    

  • Google Search Console
    

  • Ahrefs
    

  • SEMrush
    

  • Screaming Frog SEO Spider
    

• Stay up to date with Google algorithm updates and proactively adjust strategies
  

Requirements

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 3+ years of proven SEO experience
  

• Demonstrated success running SEO campaigns targeting the Australian market
  

• Experience managing International SEO campaigns
  

• Strong background in service-based industries (not primarily e-commerce)
  

• Proven track record improving rankings, organic traffic, and lead generation
  

• Strong technical SEO expertise and troubleshooting ability
  

• Experience managing multi-location and/or multi-country SEO strategies
  

• High proficiency with leading SEO and analytics platforms
  

• Ability to independently build, execute, and clearly communicate SEO strategy
  

• Strong communication, client-facing, and reporting skills
