    GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Analyze and reconciles GL account balances
    • Approves Journal entries and supports the month-end close
    • Analyzes financial information for report preparation
    • Analyzes P&L and coordinates P&L related issues with Operation and with other Finance teams
    • Prepares operation budget and run rate analysis
    • Supervise other staff in the validation of PTF request on bonuses and commission
    • Assists the GL Supervisor, GL Manager or Finance Director in preparing Ad Hoc and Top Level reports
    • Covers for the absence of Supervisor or Manager when needed
    • Performs other job assignments as specified by Finance Directors, Section Supervisors/Managers. s expected of every employee of Canon Business Process Services Philippines, Inc. (CBPS), the GL Analyst lll is expected to:
    • Reads manuals, periodicals, technical reports and attend trainings to learn ways to develop programs that meet user requirements.
    • Maintain or exceed company's quality standards for all assigned tasks.
    • Must be able to handle high levels of stress and be congenial to other customers, clients, employees at all times
    • Demonstrate commitment and enthusiasm to exceed client expectations.
    • Conduct behavior in a professional manner, consistent with normal business practices.
    • Protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of sensitive information, in line with the Information Security policy of the organization.
    • Adhere to all CBPS' policies and procedures.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy
    • Can work on a Nightshift Schedule
    • CPA is nice to have
    • At least 5 years of financial and accounting experience
    • Work experience in month-end close, journal entries, budget, account reconciliation and financial reporting/analysis
    • Minimum of 3 years in GL Analysis
    • Experience in Shared Services. BPO and/or international financial experience a plus
