About the role
We are seeking a talented Financial Management Specialist to join our dynamic team at ASIAN FILIPINO (ASFIL) ENGINEERING DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION CO.'. In this full-time position based in Manila City Metro Manila, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations and reporting for our company. The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial accounting and a keen eye for detail to ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial data.
What you'll be doing
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations
- Develop and maintain financial models and projections to support strategic decision-making
- Assist with the implementation of financial controls and procedures to mitigate risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business objectives
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, and monitor financial performance against targets
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement efficiencies
- Provide financial reporting and analysis to management and other stakeholders
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a financial management or accounting role, preferably in the construction or engineering industry
- Proficient in the use of financial software and data analysis tools
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to provide strategic financial insights
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proven track record of ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and best practices in the industry
