Executive Search Firm Monroe Consulting Group Philippines is recruiting on behalf of retail company for perfume, cosmetics and beauty products for a Finance Manager. This role is a management level position responsible for overseeing the quality of accounting and financial reporting of an organization. Furthermore, this role will report to the Executive Management and is accountable for the financial statements, maintaining cash controls, general accounting, policy development, cash management, budget, audit preparation, forecasting revenues and expenditures, purchasing and accounting-related contract compliance.

Key job responsibilities include:

Assist in formulating the company's future direction and supporting tactical initiatives
Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans
Develop financial strategies.
Manage the capital request, loan and budgeting processes
Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction
Discuss and finalize the above issues with the Management and keep updating him regularly.
Participate in key decisions as a member of the executive management team
Over view the company's transaction processing systems
Fund Monitoring, and planning for smooth operation monthly forecasting and approval from Management
Report financial results to the board of directors
Over all monitoring of organization flow
Inventory management and analysis
Any other duties to be assigned from time to time
Assist with preparation of the budget
Adhering and Implementing financial policies and procedures, set by the executive management
Establish and maintain cash controls and reconciling of general ledgers and bank statements
Manage and maintain entries in general ledger to ensure a high level of accuracy
Monitor and supervise cash reserves and investments
Prepare and reconcile bank statements
Establish, prepare and systematically maintain all suppliers accounts
Processes supplier invoices
Maintain the purchase order system
Ensure data is entered into the system
Issue cheques for all accounts due
Ensure security for all credit cards and verify charges
Ensure transactions are properly recorded and entered into the computerized accounting system
Prepare income statements and also keeping tabs of transactions and their entry in the computerized accounting database
Classifying and maintaining financial files and records, according to the year
Working on the preparation of quarterly reports, monthly financial statements and balance sheets
Prepare balance sheets and monthly financial statements
Prepare quarterly reports and report on variances
Assist with the annual audit
Maintain the computerized accounting system
Providing assistance to the senior authorities in preparing the annual budget and also the annual audit
Ensure the safeguarding of all companies funds
Issue, code and authorize purchase orders
Ensure information is entered into the financial system in an accurate and timely manner
Reconcile the accounts payablePrepare journal summaries
Compile source documents
Issuing receipts for all the accounting transactions
Reconcile weekly deposits

Key job qualifications include:

Education – Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and/or Finance is required. CPA and/or Masters degree certification is a plus.
Must possess Ten (10) years of professional experience in all areas of Accounting and Financial reporting.
Preferably Manager /Comptroller specializing in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
Thorough knowledge of the latest accounting software, financial software, management systems, payroll procedures, knowledge of verifying and interpreting financial data and records.
Advanced-level mathematical skills for complex numerical computations or reports, and highly knowledgeable in computerized accounting applications and systems.
Experience with large automated accounting systems a plus.
Vast knowledge in finance and accounting procedures, practices and principles.
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and be able to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Must possess excellent leadership skills.
Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and written) with staff, public and other agencies.
Must be fluent and have excellent communication skills (written and oral): English, Filipino.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
Competence in general office procedures and proficient in the use of equipment and computers, acquired through generally recognized course work, practical work experience.
Must be PC proficient and have a strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
