- Drive Market Share and Revenue Performance through proper pricing, inventory controls and mix management.
- Communicate revenue management strategies to leadership team of hotel.
- Implement revenue management operations, procedures and best practices.
- Identify new revenue opportunities.
- Provide daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Optimize and expand distribution partnerships.
- Act as overall business development consultant for the hotel manager/owner.
- Challenge and influence hotel to improve service level and operational standards.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with 3rd party partners, system suppliers and hotel associates
- Together with Director of Marketing and Reservations Manager, update, review and set selling strategies on monthly basis.
- Review room rate pricing strategy to ensure that they reflect the market conditions and competitive environment.
- Ensure that room rates have a wide enough range to cover high and low demand periods and that they are in line with the strategic objective of the Revenue Plan
- Set strategy for restrictions during demand periods. Increase or lower room rates based on pick up and demand.
- Ensure that revenue strategies such as 'Minimum Length of Stay (MLOS)', Close to Arrival (CTA)', 'Minimum Stay Through' (MST) are utilized.
- Look for eDistribution related revenue opportunities by reviewing GDS, Third Party Internet sites and Branded websites.
- · Ensure rate parity is in compliance on all publicly available sites
- 5 years previous hotel or airlines experience in operations or marketing. Conversant with Fidelio. Excellent computer skills
- College degree or equivalent experience

- Able to prioritize workload, is organized and well structured
- Must have initiative and be self-starter, not waiting to be driven
- Computer literacy is a consideration; knowledge of the hotel PMS system is a must.
