- Lead and manage a team of Linux engineers and administrators, providing guidance and mentoring as needed
- Plan, coordinate, and execute large-scale projects involving Linux infrastructure, ensuring project objectives are met on time and within budget
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Linux systems, including file systems, networking, security, virtualization and Cloud technologies
- Continuously monitor and optimize the performance and security of our Linux systems, identifying and implementing new technologies, tools, and processes as needed
- Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, facilitating communication among team members
- Ensure compliance with security policies, procedures, and standards related to Linux systems
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the Linux space, and provide guidance to senior management on potential areas for improvementÂ
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience working with Linux-based operating systems, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Experience managing a team of Linux engineers and administrators
- Expert-level knowledge of Linux file systems, networking, security, and virtualization technologies
- Strong project management skills, with experience planning, coordinating, and executing large-scale projects
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues related to Linux systems
- Strong commitment to continuous improvement and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing new technologies, tools, and processes to optimize the performance and security of Linux systems.
- Having certification such as RHCE, AWS SAA, CKA or any technology related is a plus
