We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our finance and accounting operations. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks, including data entry, accounts payable and receivable, and other financial recordkeeping tasks. You will work closely with the rest of the finance and accounting team to ensure the accurate and timely completion of financial statements and other reports.

Responsibilities

• Entering financial data into accounting systems (Quickbooks) accurately and efficiently

• Coordinating with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

• Participating in the budgeting and forecasting process

• Supporting the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

• Reconciling bank statements and other financial records

• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and databases

• Assisting with the preparation of financial reports and statements

• Collaborating with other departments to gather information and support decision-making

• Sourcing and purchasing goods and services for the company

• Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure the best possible price and quality

• Managing the procurement process, including issuing purchase orders and tracking deliveries

• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders

• Providing support for ad-hoc accounting and procurement projects as needed

Qualifications

• BS degree in Accountancy or Management Accounting

• Fresh Graduates are welcome

• Able to analyze data and information

• Understanding of financial and accounting principles

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

• Excited to work with a team in a fast-paced environment
