- Manage the Service Management Team including the Service Desk, support the in-country network infrastructure and telecommunication requirements, implement the local and global technical/IT projects and work closely with Regional BIT to ensure compliance with global IT standards.

- Rationalising the deploymentof servers in order to providehigh service levels at an appropriate cost
- Planning and overseeing all hardware, software andservice purchases in line with the area and country IS budget.

- Providing advice and recommendations on the selection of network related hardware and software
- Identifying and evaluating network services, network hardware and software tools available in AP
- Documentation of all networks
- To manage the HelpDesk to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- External customers: Contract negotiation, problem escalation, etc.
- Proactive member of the IT Management team
- Develop a high performance service culture within the functional department.
- Plan, organise and direct an efficient and effective functional department.
- Develop IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.
- Conduct performance appraisal.
- Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to the achievement of Global, Regional and Country objectives and targets.
- Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department.
