Position Summary

The Shift Manager, Cage Operations will oversee the activities of the Cashiers and Supervisors during the shift. Required to enforce company internal controls and standard operating procedures within the Cage department. Responsible for ensuring that all Cage team members represent the Company as stated in the Company's Team Member Code of Good Behavior, Core Values, and Service Standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safeguard company assets and strictly adhere to departmental and Company policies and procedures to maintain the integrity of Cage operations.
• Maintains confidentiality of guest and Team Member information, internal correspondence, and proprietary information.
• Responsible for the day-to-day Cage operation with the provision of efficient service, to see to it that the highest quality service and satisfaction are provided.
• Monitor inventory levels of cash and chips in all Cages ensuring there are always adequate levels for the business needs of the casino, informing the Senior Cage Management of any deficiencies.
• Assist in handling customer problems and dispute resolution.
• Administer daily transactions and disbursements, verification of transactions, authorize telegraphic transfers & issuance of winnings checks according to the cage policies and procedures.
• Helps develop, maintain, and revise policies and procedures for Cage operations in accordance with Philippine Amusement Government Corporation (PAGCOR) and Anti Money Laundering Law (AMLA) rules and regulations.
• Schedules training and cross-training of Cage Cashiers, Senior Cashiers, and Cage Supervisors.
• Assists to do performance reviews and coaching sessions of team members under their supervision.
• Providing positive reinforcement and disciplining team members where necessary.
• Monitor business demands and makes necessary scheduling and staffing arrangements.
• Recommend and/or execute management policies to hire, transfer, suspend, layoff, recall, discharge, re-assign, or discipline employees.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Key Competencies

• At least College level.
• Knowledge of Cage operations, company policies & procedures, and any applicable gaming and/or of PAGCOR and AMLA Laws.
• Provide outstanding guest service by being consistently helpful and courteous to all guests.
• Possess good aptitude for numerical and excellent service and communication skills; basic in Mandarin, Cantonese, Korean and Japanese is an advantage.
• Computer literacy, preferably proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to adhere to and supports department new procedures and objectives.
• Must be able to lift, push or pull up materials or equipment up to 30kg at times.

Experience Required

• Minimum of five years of experience in the casino business and at least a minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity.
