The Sales Executive handles accounts with frequent individual travelers, MICE and/or catering requirements. Under the general guidance and supervision of the Assistant VP for Sales in coordination with the AVP for Sales and VP for Sales and Marketing and within the limits of established hotel policies and procedures, implements all sales activities, executes administrative tasks and maximize business opportunities in his / her specific area of responsibility. This position is responsible for representing and promoting the hotel by maintaining constant contact with the market and the customer base of his/her responsibility through customer relationship management.MEETS & EXCEEDS CUSTOMERS & TEAM MEMBERS EXPECTATIONS
2. Submits quarterly performance report on top accounts.
3. Maintains an updated record on all accounts.
4. Submits liquidation reports within set policy on deadlines.
COMMUNICATION
1. Disseminates sales-related information to other departments as appropriate.
2. Participates in weekly marketing / sales meeting.
3. Maintains a high level of exposure for the hotel in major market areas through direct sales solicitation, telephone, fax, telex, contracts, and written communications.
4. Attends all pre-conference meetings, as required
5. Attends all post - conference meetings, as required and assists in the preparation of post-conference reports, as required.
6. Establishes and maintains effective employee relations.
7. Ensures that all enquiries are responded promptly within 24 hours.
