    Company description

    Netbank is a start-up fintech led bank, focused on the under-served. Its model is to:

    • Partner with Fintechs, banks and non-bank lenders, who have existing client networks
    • Allow these partners to sign-up clients, for an origination fee, booked on Netbank's balance sheet. Netbank would provide:
    • Loans to clients, so the partners can grow without raising additional capital
    • Deposit accounts for clients, serviced by the partner (on a white-label basis)
    • Technology services to the partners, allowing them more efficient processing and better client satisfaction

    Netbank will initially operate in the Philippines, but the business model is applicable across multiple geographies. Netbank launched in Q1 2020.

    Responsibilities:

    The Associate Solutions Manager - Ecommerce is responsible for identifying new partnerships as well as the following:

    • Review alternative products for Netbank. Understand the business rationale, underlying economics and sales approach for the product
    • Select a long-list of partners suitable for partnership with Netbank for each product.
    • Identify other potential Fintech who we should be talking to
    • Find contacts in target Fintech
    • Conduct initial sales:
    • Understand what services we can offer
    • Understand how this will solve the client's problems
    • Describe why this is the best solution for the client
    • Review list of target clients (on Hubspot)
    • Reviewing online resources
    • Maintaining contacts in Hubspot
    • Set-up a meeting with potential Fintech Partners
    • Prepare and launch campaigns for inbound sales

    Metrics to monitor

    • Number of new partnerships signed up
    • Profitability of partnerships

    Required skills and qualifications

    • Ability to create contacts across potential partners
    • Fintech Enthusiast
    • Self-Starter
    • Familiarity with basic Banking Service
    • Experience in delivering research, contextual, and client-focused solutions is a plus.
    • Familiarity with the Banking-As-A-Service solution model is preferred.
    • Familiarity with how Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) work is preferred.
